MMM, Rice Cereal!!!

Our little girl has started rice cereal and she LOVES it. We have been feeding her while she sits in her Bumbo. The only problem with that is now whenever we put her in her Bumbo she thinks that we are going to feed her. Here she is enjoying her meal. For more recent pictures of Loryn click here.

In honor of St. Valentine, we have drafted a list stating the top 14 things we love about our little girl (7 things by Katie & 7 by Jordan). Sometimes I think we should rename our blog "A Shrine to Loryn" or something like that. I guess I am learning that it is true, your kids become the center of your life. Our little Loryn has anyhow. So with that being said here is the list...



  1. Her hair that stands on end no matter what (Katie)
  2. Her petite girly features (Katie)
  3. The way she smiles when we see her for the first time in the mornings (Katie)
  4. Her happy, high pitch opera scream (Katie)
  5. The way she jumps when you scare her, but smiles afterward (Katie)
  6. Her BIG beautiful eyes (Katie)
  7. Very little spit-up (Katie)
  8. Her sweet laugh (Jordan)
  9. How playful she is. She LOVES to play (Jordan)
  10. Her angry yell through her binkie when she is tired (Jordan)
  11. Between 7:00 - 8:00 PM for the opportunity to listen to her jibber-jabber and play in the bath (Jordan)
  12. Her curiousity, you can always tell she is thinking about something going on around her (Jordan)
  13. Her love for EVERYBODY, she doesn't seem to care if she is being held by a complete stranger (Jordan)
  14. The rare but wonderful opportunity to cuddle with her (Jordan)
